From July through October of 2021, Vocera, now part of Stryker, fielded a survey of nurses from across the globe. The goal was to learn about the burden associated with communication in intensified environments. In this survey, more than 500 nurses were asked to recall a recent communication experience, describe it, and then rate it according to the NASA Task Load Index (TLX).
